Oakland Athletics pitcher Sean Doolittle is nearing a return from a shoulder injury, according to the Bay Area News Group. Doolittle struck out the side in a rehab appearance Thursday, showing sustained 93-mile-per hour-velocity, and though he remains without a clear activation date, his return seems imminent.
