EDGE Analysis
For the fifth consecutive start, the 29-year-old Dominican gave the Yanks six-plus innings. Although he hasn't been great, Nova has done a fine job filling a hole in the team's rotation. He's giving manager Joe Girardi exactly what he's looking for - a quality arm who can get the Bombers to the seventh inning. He'll have a tough task in his next outing as he's scheduled to start Wednesday at hitter-friendly Coors Field.
