Nova fell to 1-2 as he allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits over five innings in Sunday's loss to the Rays. After turning in a pair of strong performances in his first two starts of the season, Nova took a slight step back Sunday. The 28-year-old is still struggling a bit with his command after coming back from Tommy John surgery, as he has just nine strikeouts compared to seven walks, but sports a solid 2.65 ERA through three starts. He'll look to get back in the win column in his final start before the All-Star break, Saturday against the Red Sox.
