Nova (elbow) pitched six innings with three strike outs, allowing one earned run in a rehab start with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday. It had previously been reported that Nova would likely join the Yankees after making this rehab start, but manager Joe Girardi appeared to not be willing to commit to that plan. Nova was stretched out to 73 pitches -- as well as 12 more in the bullpen -- but struggled with his command, so he may require another start before being activated.
