Nova (elbow) pitched at extended spring training Tuesday, and he'll likely start a rehab assignment with High-A Tampa next week, the New York Post's Joel Sherman reports. Nova tossed three innings outdoors, before rain forced him inside for his final two innings of work. Yankees manager Joe Girardi previously suggested that Nova's rehab assignment may only last two or three outings, making it possible the right-hander will join the big-league squad in mid-to-late June.
