Nova (elbow) is throwing off flat ground at the Yankees' minor league complex, the Associated Press reports. The right-hander said Tuesday that he's "feeling great," close to 10 months removed from Tommy John surgery. Normal recovery is typically between 12 and 15 months, but when asked about his return, Nova said, "I don't really know. It's up to them. I haven't asked them anything. I don't want to get crazy about it." It will be hard to know where Nova truly stands until he return to mound work.
