Nova (1-0) returned from the disabled list with 6.2 shutout innings Wednesday afternoon against the Phillies, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out one. In his first start since having Tommy John surgery, Nova had the right opponent in cellar-dwelling Philadelphia, as the Phillies couldn't do anything against him despite making a ton of contact. Of course, we can't really judge Nova for a lack of strikeouts in his first start coming off such a long absence, and he's got a history of missing a decent number of bats. He'll line up against the Angels for his next start Tuesday.
