Frazier could emerge as the Rangers' starting first baseman, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers are still undecided at first base, and neither Ronald Guzman nor Greg Bird held an advantage before spring training closed. The plan was for one of those two to win the job while Frazier played third base, but if neither takes hold of the job the Rangers will consider shifting Frazier across the diamond, and he did take groundballs at first base this spring. It's a decision that could be easier to make if Isiah Kiner-Falefa continues to show the potency at the plate he hinted at this spring and provides a plausible option at the hot corner.
