Nolan Reimold (neck) is expected to be placed on the disabled list shortly. Reimold hadn't played since Monday due to a continuing issues with a bulging disk in his cervical spine. He wasn't expected to land on the DL initially, so perhaps this will be a short stint. It's a disappointing result for Reimold, who had mashed five homers in his first 11 games of the season. Wilson Betemit is starting in left field and batting sixth on Friday night.
