Nimmo, who moved from High-A St. Lucie to Double-A Binghamton this season, could hit the majors in 2015, the NY Post reports. Paul DePodesta, the Mets' vice president of player development and amateur scouting, made that comment about Nimmo, who made strides against left-handed pitching and started to physically fill out. Nimmo was promoted to Double-A Binghamton at midseason after hitting .322 with four homers and 25 RBI in 62 games for St. Lucie. For Binghamton, Nimmo hit .238 with six homers and 26 RBI in 65 games and he likely will begin 2015 with the B-Mets.
