Nimmo (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.

Nimmo will begin the 2017 season on the disabled list after aggravating his strained hamstring in mid-March. He recently began jogging, but is still in need of additional rehabbing. The DL stint is retroactive to March 30, so he's eligible to return as soon as April 9.
