Nimmo (finger) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday and will bat eighth and play right field against the Cubs.

Nimmo missed just over the minimum with a bruised left index finger. In the nine games prior to the injury, he was hitting an excellent .484/.556/.935, so it's a bit of a surprise to see him batting eighth after hitting no lower than sixth earlier in the season.
