Nimmo (finger) began a rehab assignment with High-A St. Lucie on Saturday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Nimmo has been out for eight days with a bruised left index finger. He's eligible to return Monday against the Cubs and appears to be in line to do so, barring setbacks.
