Nieuwenhuis is dealing with an infection that has kept him hospitalized, and will continue to undergo more tests. Manager Terry Collins wouldn't go into much detail on the situation, but look for the Mets to update his condition later in the week. The outfield for Sunday's season finale will be composed of Matt den Dekker, Curtis Granderson and Bobby Abreu.
