Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that the Red Sox have not discussed a contract with Roy Oswalt. Oswalt is said to have worked out for the Red Sox recently, but there was apparently no discussion of a deal. The 34-year-old right-hander has begun to get tuned up and should be ready to sign somewhere soon. He posted a 3.69 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 93/33 K/BB ratio in 139 innings (23 starts) last season.
