Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that the Red Sox have asked the Astros about the availability of Wandy Rodriguez. There's no doubt that Rodriguez is on the trade block, and Cafardo said the Astros are "getting more and more inquiries about his availability." Given the lack of quality pitching on the free agent market, now is a good time for Houston to be seeing what they can get for the left-hander. The Rockies are another team known to have interest in Rodriguez.
