Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that the Marlins are expected to shop Josh Johnson over the offseason.
The Marlins listened to offers for the right-hander at the trade deadline but never seemed to be serious about dealing him. That evidently could change now with more teams likely to be in on the bidding. Cafardo notes that the Red Sox had interest in Johnson at the deadline and likely will again this winter. He also lists the Orioles, Blue Jays, Royals, Twins, Rangers and Dodgers as potential players.
Oh yeah, we'll see. The honeymoon is over for him, Beeston and Rogers Communications after what the Orioles and A's have pulled off this year. I guess we're going to find out if he is the "REAL DEAL " of a GM.

why wouldnt he?

Because of all the teams he's competing against and what he'd have to give up to get him, that's why.

you could say that about every team and if he wants him more than others he has more to offer

I will have to now eat my words. I am IMPRESSED with what AA has just pulled off. But lets remember, the game still has to be played on the field.

Yea I love the trade but the players still have to perform, if they don't they could easily turn into the marlins of last year
