New York Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud could return from his ankle injury next weekend, according to the New York Post. d'Arnaud is currently rehabbing in High-A Port St. Lucie after suffering the injury June 20 against the Atlanta Braves. Mets manager Terry Collins said last month that the extended loss of d'Arnaud for the second time this season continued an unfortunate trend when it comes to the health of their starters. "We’re getting numb,” Collins said. “We’re pretty much numb to the whole situation that every time we turn around something happens, so we’ve just got to again regroup, and it doesn’t matter who is in there, we’ve got to start getting some production from some guys. As our record shows, if we start scoring some runs we’ll win a lot of games.” d'Arnaud is hitting .296 with four homers and 17 RBI in 19 games this season.
