Negron went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs in Monday's 13-0 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
With lefty Rich Hill on the mound for Los Angeles, Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo chose to give the lefty-hitting Ketel Marte the day off, opening up shortstop for Negron, who was part of the wave of September callups last weekend. Negron turned in a quality showing at the plate as the Diamondbacks claimed their 11th straight win, and may have earned himself more work against left-handed pitching in future contests. Since he has the ability to man multiple positions in the infield or outfield, Negron won't necessarily be relegated to duties at shortstop whenever he plays.
