Galvis (quadriceps) is expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment within the next few days and is tracking toward an early August return from the 10-day injured list, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Baltimore has yet to formally outline a rehab schedule for Galvis, but he'll presumably report to Triple-A Norfolk and play a few games with the affiliated before being activated. While Galvis has been sidelined since late June with the right quad strain, Ramon Urias has taken over as Baltimore's everyday shortstop.
