Nationals signed LHP Mike Gonzalez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Gonzalez posted a rough 4.68 ERA and 1.66 WHIP in 50 innings last season for the Brewers. The 35-year-old left-hander will have to make a great impression in Nationals camp to secure an Opening Day bullpen spot.
