The Washington Nationals signed second baseman Josh Harrison to a one-year deal on Monday after he was recently released by the Phillies. Catcher Raudy Read was optioned to the alternate training site in a corresponding move. Harrison spent the first eight years of his career with Pittsburgh, earning an All-Star selection in 2014.
