Nationals prospect OF Steven Souza was 1-for-2 with his 10th home run of the season Thursday for Triple-A Syracuse. Souza, 25, has been on fire during his current seven-game hitting streak, batting .481/.563/.852 with two home runs, four doubles, 10 RBI and three stolen bases. On the season, Souza owns an impressive .368/.462/.584 batting line to go along with 10 homers, 13 doubles, 15 stolen bases and 41 RBI in 58 games. He's already seen time in the major leagues this year, going 1-for-8 while appearing in eight games, but is blocked from regular playing time in the Nationals already overcrowded outfield.
