Nationals manager Davey Johnson indicated that Kurt Suzuki will likely open 2013 as the starting catcher over Wilson Ramos.
"Suzuki will probably start the season at No. 1, making sure that Ramos is comfy," said Johnson. "I love Ramos. I love both of them." Ramos is still considered the catcher of the future, but the Nationals plan to work in him slowly as he makes his way back from meniscus and ACL surgeries. Both catchers make for risky fantasy investments in 2013.
