Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Nate Pearson (illness) made his first minor league rehab appearance of the year on Thursday for Low-A Dunedin, and he threw 30 pitches (18 strikes) over 1 2/3 frames. His fastball sat at 95 mph and touched 97 mph, while his slider was at 85 mph and induced a couple of swings and misses.
