Narveson signed a minor league contract with the Marlins that includes an invite to spring training. Narveson will return to the States after spending 2014 in Japan, posting a 4.53 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 6.3 K/9 over 137 innings with Yakult. The 32-year-old has held opposing lefties to a .231/.320/.342 batting line for his career and will get to compete for a specialist role in spring training.
