Murphy may move to third base with David Wright (hamstring) sidelined so that newly-promoted Dilson Herrera can play second, the NY Daily News reports. The Mets infield defense has been atrocious and Herrera has shown he can play a solid second base. Murphy played third base a bit last year and may move to the hot corner, at least until Wright returns in a week or so.
