Rogers (7-1) got the win in Thursday's 5-4 victory over Arizona, allowing two hits with one strikeout across two scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers was brought in for the eighth inning of a 4-4 game and stayed in for the ninth after retiring the side in order on 11 pitches. The final frame was a bit more eventful but an out the bases helped the 30-year-old navigate a pair of hits and he fell in line for the victory when San Francisco walked it off in the bottom of the inning. It was a nice rebound outing for Rogers, who surrendered two runs in one inning to Arizona on Tuesday, though he probably won't be available tomorrow after firing 26 pitches.
