As expected, Taylor goes on the shelf after exiting Friday's game with the oblique injury. His absence will likely increase the playing time of Jackie Bradley and Jace Peterson, although both are merely backup options and don't figure to start more than a couple times a week. Eric Yardley was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move.
