Moustakas went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in the Royals' loss to Minnesota on Tuesday. With the multi-hit effort, Moustakas is now hitting .327 with three homers on the season. He's also cut back on his strikeouts early on (4:5 BB:K over 55 at-bats), flashing a line that resembles that of an elite bat (.327/.413/.545) through 14 games. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain the improved strikeout rate, but for now he should continue to reap the benefits of hitting second in the order for manager Ned Yost.
