Moss will undergo hip surgery on October 21st, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. The news was an expected development for Moss, who was prepared for surgery on his right hip after an MRI in September revealed torn cartilage and bone-on-bone issues. He was able to play through it for the rest of the season, but his status for the start of the 2015 season is unclear at this point.
