Moss is out of the lineup Friday against the Mariners, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. With another lefty (James Paxton) due up for the opposition, Moss will sit in favor of Nate Freiman at first base for a second straight day. Moss will likely continue to play exclusively against right-handers over the remainder of the season.
