Moss (hip) signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with the Indians on Friday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Moss underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn right hip labrum in the offseason, and is now on the road to recovery that should lead to him being ready for the 2015 season. However, it is unclear if the injury will have any effect in his numbers, and his playing time could take a hit with the move. The 31-year-old will give the Indians depth in the infield and corner outfield, but he doesn't have a guaranteed everyday starting spot like he did with the Athletics last season.
