Moss continued his struggles on Wednesday, going 0-for-3 and now holds a 17 at-bat hitless streak. After a great first half with 21 homers and 65 RBI that earned Moss his first All-Star berth, he has hit a very rough patch since the Break. Moss is 10-for-64, a mere .156 average, with two homers and six RBI since July 18. This slide should not affect Moss' playing time for now with the A's needing his bat in the middle of their order, but could lead to him sitting against almost all left-handers.
