Morrow (shoulder) will throw live BP on Friday for the first time since his arthroscopic surgery, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Morrow has a difficult road ahead of him as he works through a shoulder injury that has kept him off the field since last May. He'll have to build up a fair amount of arm strength if he wants to make the San Diego rotation, so beginning the season in the bullpen could be on the table. However, it still remains to be seen if he is still an effective pitcher, given the brutal history of pitchers returning from long-term shoulder injuries.
