Morrow (shoulder) gave up four runs on five hits and two walks to go along with three strikeouts in 5.1 innings pitched in a rehab start at high Single-A Lake Elsinore on Monday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Morrow got off to a great start, tossing three shutout innings of work before getting roughed up in the fourth and fifth innings. It's a good sign that the 31-year-old was effective early on, and it is entirely possible that the runs came as a result of fatigue. More information regarding his health should be released soon, but he seems to be getting close to full strength.
