Morrow had his contract purchased from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Morrow was added to take the place of Alex Wood, who was placed on the disabled list with SC joint inflammation, though he's expected to pitch out of the bullpen for the big club. Despite his 5.71 ERA with Oklahoma City this season (17.1 innings), Morrow has been rounding into form lately with a 1.93 ERA in May (nine games).
