Morrison has been excellent in his two starts, going 5-for-8 with one home run, three RBI and two runs. The numbers are particularly relevant in his case, considering the historically bad April he put together in his Rays debut campaign in 2016. Morrison will continue to platoon with fellow veteran Rickie Weeks, Jr. at first base, with the latter suiting up against left-handers.
