Morrison started against Angels lefty C.J. Wilson on Tuesday night and went 0-for-3 while leaving a pair of runners on base. While he dropped from sixth to seventh in the order as a result of the matchup, the Mariners elected to use Rickie Weeks as the DH and Nelson Cruz in right field, rather than spell Morrison with Weeks at first base to play the matchups. Morrison should have plenty of RBI opportunities this season with a stronger group of hitters in front of him than in his previous seasons with Seattle.
