Morrison is out of the Mariners lineup Wednesday against the Athletics. Morrison will sit for the third time in four games. He doesn't appear to be suffering from an injury, but his performance a the plate may be playing into his lack of playing time. He turned it around a bit in his last game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored, but was 0-for-15 in the four games prior with nine strikeouts. Kendrys Morales will start at first base Wednesday while Corey Hart will take the designated hitter role.
