Morrison (illness) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Twins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

A case of the stomach flu will keep Morrison out of the lineup for a second straight contest, indirectly opening up a spot in the outfield for Mallex Smith with Corey Dickerson assuming DH duties. The Rays haven't offered any indication that Morrison's illness is more than a day-to-day concern, so expect him to rejoin the lineup at some point during Tampa Bay's three-game series with Boston over the weekend.
