Morrison (forearm) will make his first rehab appearance for High-A Charlotte on Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 28-year-old was placed on the 15-day DL on July 29 after struggling with forearm tendinitis for several days prior. Morrison is slashing .228/.324/.411 with 10 homers and 31 RBI over 294 at-bats this season, and had gone just 2-for-23 over the seven games prior to being shelved.
