Morrison (forearm) was activated from the disabled list Monday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Morrison hit the DL in late July with tendinitis in hi forearm, but he'll return to the Rays after finishing up a rehab assignment over the weekend. The first baseman had been struggling -- 2-of-his-last-23 at the plate -- prior to hitting the DL, and he'll look to improve upon the .228/.324/.411 slash line he holds through 294 at-bats on the season. In order to free up a roster spot for Morrison, the Rays optioned Dylan Floro to Triple-A Durham.
