The veteran made a successful debut at his new position of DH, opening the scoring by getting plunked and driving in Kevin Kiermaier in the first, and then plating Matt Duffy in the eighth with a two-bagger. Morrison's new position is the end result of the musical chairs prompted by Duffy's ascension to the big league club following the conclusion of his rehab for an Achilles injury suffered while he was still with the Giants.
