Morrison (back) is starting at first base and hitting leadoff against the Rays on Friday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. Friday marks the third time in the last five games that Morrison has been atop the order for the Mariners. He was a late scratch from Thursday's game due to back spasms, but apparently it was just a minor setback, as he will set the table in a left-heavy lineup against right-hander Jake Odorizzi.
