Moreland revealed Wednesday that he played the final two months of 2015 with a stress fracture in his left foot, but said the foot is now completely healed, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reconstructive left ankle surgery ended Moreland's 2014 campaign abruptly, and the left foot apparently presented issues throughout the second half of 2015, but Moreland was able to stay on the field and log a career-high 471 at-bats for the Rangers. There has been nothing to suggest he will be limited in any way at the start of spring training. Moreland is expected to serve as the primary option at first base again in 2016.
