Moreland came through in the clutch with a pinch-hit two-run single in Friday's 2-1 win over the White Sox. The lefty didn't start Friday's game but made the most of his lone at-bat, driving in the tying and winning runs with the bases loaded in the ninth. Moreland is now batting .304 with eight home runs and 32 RBI on the season and will continue to put up useful numbers as long as he continues to see the majority of the starts at first base.
