Moreland (ankle) has been cleared for a progressive running program, MLB.com reports. A follow-up exam with Dr. Keith Meister yielded positive results, as Moreland was cleared to run on the surgically-repaired ankle and the hope is that he will soon be given the green light to progress to full activity. Moreland is expected to enter spring training without restriction, and it's possible he could push for time in left field if he shows ample mobility.
