Moore was hammered to the tune of eight runs on 11 hits over three innings Thursday. He walked two and struck out seven in a 10-9 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Moore continues to struggle in the month of June, surrendering 16 earned runs over 12 innings while bringing his season ERA up to an even 6.00 through 14 starts. The veteran southpaw has experienced a bit of bad luck with a .349 BABIP against coupled with a career-low 64.9 percent strand rate, but a 4.80 FIP tells us that he hasn't been doing much to help his case on the mound even if things were breaking his way. At this point, the only positive thing that can be said about Moore's season is that he has done a good job of pitching in cavernous AT&T Park (3.07 ERA at home), but his inability to sustain success on the road (7.94 ERA) greatly diminishes his fantasy value.
