Moore (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day disabled list Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Moore needed to be added to the 40-man roster Monday as the 60-day DL dissolves five days after the World Series ends. He participated in his first throwing session in early September since undergoing Tommy John surgery in April. His timetable is still unclear, but he should be able to pitch at some point next season. The Rays will need to make two moves to clear spots on the 40-man for Moore and Jerry Sands, who was also removed from the 60-day DL.
